JPA ACADEMY PROGRAM - IN-PERSON

July 15-27, 2024, The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) Tuition: $2850 Housing: On-campus accommodations arranged by JPA (separate cost from tuition), or off-campus accommodations arranged/paid by participant - Performance-oriented program where students will expand their musical horizon - Holistic approach for becoming a musician who possesses multi-layered knowledge and an expressive voice in their performances - Our signature JPA Lecture Series takes place every day and is curated to broaden students' knowledge at and beyond the keyboard. Past speakers include professionals in the fields of conducting, composing, medicine and physical therapy, entrepreneurship and philosophy - All faculty members and guest artists are world-renowned artists and pedagogues - One or more public performances in the concert hall - Three private lessons, each with different professors to enhance the participant's learning opportunity - Two performances in public master classes. All participants will perform in one master class given by the Artistic Director, John Perry, and one master class given by another of our internationally renowned faculty and guest artists - Option of requesting additional lessons with members of the faculty (subject to availability, for an additional fee) - Option of creating a professional recording in the concert hall with a professional sound engineer (for an additional fee) - Plenty of hours outside of daily activities for practice - Application priority deadline: March 31, 2024 - Application Deadline: June 20, 2024

JPA ACADEMY PROGRAM - ONLINE

July 15-27, 2024 Tuition: $1380 - An advanced level online program - Performance-oriented program where students will expand their musical horizon - Holistic approach for becoming a musician who possesses multi-layered knowledge and an expressive voice in their performances - Our signature JPA Lecture Series takes place every day and is curated to broaden students' knowledge at and beyond the keyboard. Past speakers include professionals in the fields of conducting, composing, medicine and physical therapy, entrepreneurship and philosphy - All faculty members and guest artists are world-renowned artists and pedagogues - Two (virtual) performances in public master classes. All participants will perform in one master class given by the Aristic Director, John Perry, and one master class given by another of our internationally renowned faculty and guest artists - Option to request private lessons (for an additional fee of $220 per 45-minute lesson, subject to availability) - Access to the live-stream for all events during the program - Public performance in the program's final concert (virtual, streamed into the concert hall via the large projector and screen on stage) - Opportunity to meet for a mentoring/career consultation (for an additional fee of $300) - Receipt of a performance certificate with personal commentary from Artistic Director, John Perry, following completion of the program - All classes will be operated in a hybrid fashion (in-person and online). Recordings of lessons and master class sessions can be requested for an additional fee - Application Priority Deadline: March 31, 2024 - Application Deadline: June 20, 2024

JPA CHAMBER PROGRAM - IN-PERSON
    (chamber music, new in 2024!)

July 15-27, 2024, The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) Tuition: $1850 Housing: On-campus accommodations arranged by JPA (separate cost from tuition), OR off-campus accommodations arranged/paid by participant - Performance-oriented program that introduces a professional learning environment with a friendly and supportive atmosphere. Students will expand their musical horizon, with a well-rounded curriculum combining performing skills and musical knowledge - with daily classes delving into areas such as music history and cultural awareness, music theory, ear training, music appreciation, technique clinic, chamber music coaching, etc. - Holistic approach that encourages students to explore the emotional and expressive aspects of music in addition to technical proficiency, alongside mindfulness and wellness practicies to support the overall well-being of students - All faculty members and guest artists are world-renowned artists and pedagogues - Our signature JPA Lecture Series takes place every day and is curated to broaden students' knowledge at and beyond the keyboard. Past speakers include professionals in the fields of conducting, composing, medicine and physical therapy, entrepreneurship and philosophy - Frequest performance opportunities including in master classes given by internationally renowned artists and pedagogues, as well as one or more public performances in the concert hall - Option of requesting additional lessons with members of the faculty (subject to availability, for an additional fee) - Option of creating a professional recording in the concert hall with a professional sound engineer (for an additional fee) - Guaranteed time outside of daily activies for practice - Application Deadline: applications will close as soon as capacity is reached
